Acutip

AccuChip is a specialized light therapy device designed to improve sunspots, freckles, and facial redness. With an ultra-fine treatment tip of only 6.35mm in diameter, it allows for high-precision targeting of areas such as the sides of the nose, concentrated dark spots, and post-acne redness.

Furthermore, there is virtually no downtime, allowing patients to apply makeup and return to their daily activities immediately following the procedure.

Expected results

  • Targeting Light Pigmentation
AccuTip emits precise light that targets pigmented areas. Within a few days, the treated spots will rise to the surface and flake off through natural skin metabolism. It is exceptionally effective even for light-colored spots that are typically difficult to treat with conventional light therapy.
  • Redness & Acne Scars
The light from AccuTip destroys visible excess blood vessels, effectively reducing redness from acne scars and facial flushing. As dullness fades, your skin will regain its natural translucency.
  • Telangiectasia
Thanks to its pinpoint accuracy, AccuTip is highly effective for telangiectasia (visible capillaries) around the nostrils, an area often difficult to treat with standard lasers.
  • Freckles
Even for freckles that were previously unresponsive to other light treatments, AccuTip provides targeted results through its high-precision delivery.

Recommended for those with the following concerns.

  1.  Sunspots / Freckles
  2. Moles (Requires multiple sessions)
  3. Facial Redness / Broken Capillaries
  4. Cherry Angioma (Red Moles)
  5. Acne / Post-inflammatory Redness
  6. Spots unresponsive to other treatments

Yes, body treatments are possible. However, since the metabolic rate of the body is slower than that of the face, it may take up to four weeks for the scabs to naturally flake off.

We do not treat melasma areas with AccuTip, as it may cause the pigmentation to darken. For melasma, we recommend oral medications or alternative treatments (such as Laser Toning or Photosilk Plus) depending on your condition.

It is highly effective for solar lentigines (age spots) and freckles. However, for birthmarks such as café-au-lait spots or ADM (Acquired Dermal Melanocytosis), which are often mistaken for common spots, AccuTip generally yields limited results.

Depending on your skin type, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (reddish or brownish marks) may occur for a few months, similar to results seen after Q-switched YAG laser treatments. Rest assured, these will fade naturally over time.

Furthermore, because the treatment equipment involves heating, the risk of burns is not zero. Therefore, at our hospital, our experienced doctors carefully monitor each patient's skin condition and provide meticulous treatment to minimize the risks.

Yes. AccuTip uses wavelengths (500–635 nm) that are highly absorbed by both melanin and hemoglobin, making it very effective for vascular lesions like acne redness and cherry angiomas.

While one session can show results, multiple treatments every 3–4 weeks are often recommended for optimal outcome.

As this is a light-based device, allergic reactions can occur in rare cases. We offer a patch test (test irradiation) upon request. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
