Genesis

Genesis is an advanced medical laser treatment that enhances the efficacy and safety of traditional long-pulse YAG lasers.

Preoperative precautions

Pre-Treatment Precautions for Genesis

Please consult with us before considering Genesis treatment if any of the following apply to you:

  1. Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
  2. Those with major social events within 1 week after treatment.
  3. Individuals with a recent severe sunburn.
  4. Presence of metal, silicone, or other implants in the treatment area.
  5. History of photosensitivity, heart disease, bleeding disorders, diabetes, or keloid scarring.
  6. Active Herpes Simplex (Type 1 or 2) or impaired wound healing.
  7. Presence of cancer, infection, scars, or subcutaneous tumors in the treatment area.
  8. Individuals with implanted gold threads or those treated with gold salts in the past year.
  9. Individuals with implanted pacemakers or internal defibrillators.
  10. Any other condition where the physician deems treatment inappropriate.

While Genesis is generally a safe procedure, it is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Notably,treatment is strictly prohibited for patients with implanted gold threads or those taking gold salts for rheumatoid arthritis.Laser exposure can cause Chrysiasis, a permanent blue-gray skin discoloration. However, for those with a predisposition to keloids, Genesis may be used as a therapeutic option depending on the condition.

Postoperative precautions

Immediately after treatment, do not go to the sauna, engage in strenuous exercise, or drink alcohol.
You may experience redness or a tingling sensation after the treatment. Please avoid beauty treatments and facial massages.
