Botox

Botox is a purified protein derived from Clostridium botulinum, commonly referred to as botulinum toxin.
It works by temporarily inhibiting muscle contractions, which provides a wide range of aesthetic and therapeutic benefits, such as smoothing fine lines and relaxing targeted muscles.

What is Botox?

Botulinum toxin has the ability to inhibit the release of acetylcholine, which is involved in muscle movement and sweat secretion; due to this effect, it is used to improve facial wrinkles and hyperhidrosis, as well as for localized slimming and lifting treatments.

The effects of Botox injections vary depending on the treatment site and the individual, but generally, the treatment effect appears within 1 to 2 weeks after injection, lasts for about 3 to 6 months, and then gradually returns to its original state. By continuously repeating the treatment, you can experience even greater results.

Improve facial wrinkles
By injecting subcutaneously or intramuscularly into wrinkled areas such as the forehead, between the eyebrows, corners of the eyes, under the chin (mentalis), and the back of the neck, the muscles causing the wrinkles can be immobilized.

By injecting Botox into the masseter muscle, the size of the developed muscle can be reduced, thereby thinning the face and eliminating teeth grinding.

Botox uses botulinum toxin to block nerves, which can also reduce sweating. By injecting into the underarms and various areas prone to sweating, underarm irritation can be treated and perspiration stopped.

Treat

The injection site for Botox will be marked, and the Botox injection will be administered. The procedure itself will be completed in approximately 5 to 15 minutes.

Because it is a subcutaneous injection, you may feel some pain during the procedure, but there is almost no pain afterward.

Postoperative precautions

In rare cases, the medication may affect a different part of the body.
In all cases, the leakage is very minor, and the condition will return to normal once the effects of Botox wear off. However, we will provide follow-up care, such as a doctor's consultation.
